Get Away (2024 film): I knew that family was tapped

From the moment they kept pushing to go to that “cannibal” island, I knew something was wrong about them.

Everyone warned them about that island, but they didn’t care. They were told people die on that island, but they insisted. They were obsessed with going to the island, and to the island they went.

Two things cemented it for me. The death of the diner owners at the wharf and the “son” being too quick to throw something in one of the villagers’ eyes. When I saw those, I thought to myself, “These people are not normal.”

There was a play they were so desperate to watch, but when it came time for the festival, they refused to go see it. They went out swimming instead and then returned to decimate the island.

And you know the sad thing? They got away with it. They murdered an entire village and got away with it.

Oooh, that hurt my soul.

By the way, the only person I was happy they killed was Mats Larsson. He was a creep: a disgusting pervert.
