I wanted to start this off by saying I was so pained that Frank and Rachel didn’t last forever but the moment I began to write, I couldn’t agree with that thought.
Sure their love was beautiful and even though we really didn’t see them actually live out that love but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Rachel was attracted to Frank from the moment she met him while Frank really fell for her after they went shopping.
They explored it but Frank’s discipline wouldn’t allow him fully give into his desires.
Watching him struggle with his deep love for Rachel and his crippling fear for safety kept me hooked.
Maybe I was wrong by saying I didn’t wish their love lasted forever.
I wished they had the kind of happy ending where they ride off into the sunset but it wasn’t their fate.
Their love was one that taught them a lesson. For Rachel discipline and for Frank, freedom… I think.
